Has a degree in History from PUC-Campinas (1994), a Master’s (1998) and Doctorate in History (2003) from UNICAMP, with a Doctoral Sandwich period in Université Paris Diderot (2000/2001). Did Post-Doctoral research in History, Unicamp, 2017.

Coordinator of the UFRRJ/Université Paris Diderot international agreement. Researcher and leader of LabQueer – Laboratory of studies of gender relations, masculinity and transgenders /UFRRJ. Researcher for the following groups: “Gender, Experience, and Subjectivities” group (UNICAMP); “Images of Death: death and dying in the Ibero-American world” – UNIRIO; and “Laboratory of Study and Research of the Contemporary Period,” responsible for the research line “Gender relations, masculinities, and queer theory” – UFABC.
